Booking requests

Yes (booking requests are sent to host via email and/or SMS; hosts can also send a booking invite to the guest). Both requests and invites are synchronised to Rentals United as regular bookings which block availability. If requests or invite is cancelled in the StayOne dashboard, the booking gets cancelled in Rentals United, as well.

Charges & Payments

Charging party

StayOne charges the guest. At the time of booking, StayOne invoices the guest for the first 50% deposit. Full commission is deducted at this stage, and StayOne immediately sends the host the balance via bank transfer. The remaining 50% is due ten weeks prior to arrival, alongside the refundable damages deposit and any additional fees set by the host. Full payment is required for bookings made within 10 weeks of arrival.

Once the host has received either payment, they are deemed non-refundable to the guest.

Commission application

StayOne takes the commission from the prices received from Rentals United

Rates must be pushed inclusive of commission (StayOne then deducts the commission amount). StayOne requires rate parity, so hosts cannot push marked-up rates without prior approval. Please, refer to the terms in your contract with StayOne.
